Made by fellow soap maker, Nesli at Cherry Tree Naturals, we love these shampoo bars! Nesli grows the nettle and rosemary and in her garden, and forages the horsetail near her cottage, these are infused in organic Jojoba oil and are included in all 4 of the shampoo bars.
This is a shampoo bar suitable for oily hair.
This shampoo bar does not require an acid (cider vinegar) rinse and it doesn’t have a transition phase. This is because it’s not made from soap.
Solid Shampoo Bars replace liquid shampoos (made of 80%+ water) in plastic bottles. This pH balanced solid shampoo is created with gentle and biodegradable surfactants (derived from coconut) that will gently cleanse your hair without drying your scalp.
Instructions for use:
Wet hair thoroughly. Part hair in sections with one hand, hold shampoo bar in other hand and rub onto scalp. Massage, and rinse.

Properties:
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI): is a palm oil free natural surfactant derived from coconuts. It gently cleanses and creates lather. It will not dry your scalp.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine (CAPB): is another gentle coconut-based co-surfactant (again, very gentle, and creates a soft lather. Palm oil free. SCI and CABP work together to create a gentle cleanse.
Mango Butter: A light butter which moisturises, fortifies strands from the inside out, softens, reduces breakage, and smooths split ends.
Grapeseed Oil: Non greasy oil. It moisturizes and conditions hair. It also makes hair strong and healthy, and is effective in treating frizz and split ends. Grapeseed oil helps with scalp inflammation for those who suffer from itchy scalp.
Jojoba Oil: moisturises hair and scalp, promotes hair thickness.
Glycerin: Deeply moisturises, hydrates hair. Glycerin is one of the best humactants for hair.
Cetyl Alcohol: Conditioning oil, palm oil free.
Shikakai Powder: Is an ayurvedic plant powder which has so many benefits for hair. Soothes itchy scalp,makes hair soft and shiny and may help with hair growth, plus it’s a natural cleanser.
Agar Agar: a vegan gelatine that helps to create a harder and more long-lasting bar
Vitamin Pro B5: is a strenthening and moisturising conditioner for the hair. It has the ability to absorb moisture from the air and acts as a humectant. It also helps to sooth an irritated scalp.
Yellow Clay: Frees skin from sebum excess and impurities, leaving hair supple and voluminous. Despite the intensive cleansing action, the clay can work in a subtle way, soothing an irritated scalp.
Aloe Vera Gel: Calms an itchy scalp, moisturises and calms skin. Naturally anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antibacterial
Nettle Extract: Rich in silica and sulfur, it enhances blood flow to hair.
Horsetail Extract: Promotes healthy hair, boosts scalp circulation.
Lemon Essential Oil: Lemon is known for its clean, citrus scent and antiseptic properties. Lemon essential oil is good for balancing oils and preventing infections. It helps cleanse the scalp and remove dead skin.
Grapefruit Essential Oil: Improves blood circulation and strenghtens roots.
Sweet Orange Essential Oil: Sweet orange oil is also an excellent moisturizer for brittle hair. Also known to improve the smoothness of strands.
